Where Can I Serve?

One of the values of Meridian Presbyterian is service. Jesus tells us that how we serve one another, and more importantly, how we serve the least shows our faith. We have plenty of opportunities for people to serve God by serving others.

Mission Outreach

Meridian has multiple ways for you to get involved in making a difference in our community. We serve a community dinner on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Butler that feeds the needy and hungry. You can pack lunches to be handed out to people in need on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We support with time and money things like Hosanna Industries, Meals on Wheals, the Covenant Food Cupboard, and many others. Please see our mission page for more information. Mission at Meridian

Music

Worship is a vital part of what it means to be the church. While our style is mainly traditional, we have plenty of places for people to use their gifts to facilitate our worship services. We have a chancel choir and bell choir. Anyone of any age is welcome to join us. We also like to blend our music with more modern styles. You will often hear a guitar, drum, or any other kind of instrument in our worship services. If you have a gift to share, we’ll find a place for you.

Nursery

Meridian has been experiencing exploding growth in our children’s ministries. Our nursery is now in 2 different rooms, one for toddlers and one for infants. We are always in need of new volunteers to help out. Please see Sarah Murtha if you have a passion for children.

Media & Technology

Our sound booth and media controls are always looking for a few fresh faces. We have a core group of volunteers that run these things on Sunday morning. If technology and sound are your passion, we have a place for you to get plugged in.

Prayer Chain

Prayer cannot be overestimated. We believe in the power of prayer and therefore anyone who has a prayer request can contact the church office and let us know. We have a long list of prayer warriors who will lift their hearts and voices to God.
