Do I need any special skills or experience
Not at all! Most roles just need a willing heart. We provide any training you need — whether it’s running the soundboard or leading a children’s lesson.
How much time does volunteering require?
It depends on the role. Some are just one Sunday a month (like greeting), while others are weekly (like choir). We’ll work with your schedule — no pressure to overcommit.
Can my kids or teens volunteer too?
Absolutely! Youth can help with hospitality, outreach events, and A/V. It’s a great way for families to serve together.
Is there a background check for working with children?
Yes — anyone working directly with children or youth will complete a simple background check. We’ll walk you through the process; it’s quick and confidential.
What if I want to try something before committing?
We encourage that! Shadow a current volunteer for a Sunday or join a one-time service project to see if it’s a good fit. No long-term commitment required upfront.
